Malang Best Places to Eat

The city of Malang is a very pleasant place to visit. It's not as popular as some other destinations in Indonesia, but it has plenty to offer tourists and locals alike. There are many beautiful parks and gardens in town, as well as interesting museums and historical buildings. As one might expect from a large city in the east, there are also several good restaurants with traditional Indonesian foods like nasi goreng (fried rice), bakso (meatballs), soto ayam (chicken soup), and more. Here are six great places to eat when you're visiting Malang:

Tugu Rasa Makmur

Located in the heart of Malang, Tugu Rasa Makmur is one of the best places to grab a bite. The restaurant offers an extensive menu with both Indonesian and international dishes at affordable prices. Ordering from their menu is simple; just choose from their variety of meat and seafood dishes, vegetable curries, noodles, soups and desserts!

Paket Wisata Malang

For those looking for something new, try their rendang buntut (braised oxtail) or ayam goreng kremes (fried chicken). If you’re a fan of seafood, then you can never go wrong with prawns cooked in sweet soy sauce or squid soup noodles. With so many options available it’s hard not to find something that will tickle your taste buds!

If you’re not in the mood for meat, then don't worry because there are plenty more options available including stir fried vegetables like brinjal fritters served with chili sambal on top (delicious!). For those who prefer something lighter there's also Japanese style sushi rolls which come together nicely with tempura prawns & vegetables along with other fillings such as smoked salmon topped off by creamy avocado slices & spicy mayonnaise sauce drizzled over everything else on top too!

The Kasepuhan Palace

The Kasepuhan Palace is the place to go if you want to eat a lot of food. This restaurant is known for its large portions, and it's definitely not a place you'll leave hungry.

The menu offers everything from fried rice to beef rendang, but if you're looking for something specific, ask for an order of gado-gado with sambal (it's delicious). If you're feeling adventurous, try eating with your hands! The waitstaff here is very accommodating when it comes to helping foreigners use chopsticks or eat with their hands (if they don't already offer this service, let them know).

Lesehan Tekko

Lesehan Tekko is located at the corner of Jl. Brawijaya and Jl. Imam Bonjol. It's open from 5pm-3am and has a wide selection of food, including Indonesian, Chinese and Japanese cuisine. They also have a variety of drinks such as beer, wine and coffee! Travel Jember
